A before and after of a living space for a young family. The goal was to create a space that was beautiful and safe for baby. In addition, this couple had slightly different tastes and my challenge was creating a design that worked for both people. One tended toward a light, Scandinavian palette where the other preferred a more traditional style, hence the theme 'Old World Scandinavian.'
The couple had paint colors and flooring that they wanted to keep, in addition to existing furniture that was incorporated. Despite that, the change was significant and the space feels quite cozy now! The most significant changes made were a new chandelier, curtains added and new stone on the fireplace.
